2Eligibility & Self-Referral

Our services are available to adults seeking private cardiac diagnostic testing. No GP referral is required to book most services; you may self-refer directly. Where a service does require a referral or additional clinical assessment, this will be made clear at the time of booking.

You confirm that any information you provide about your identity, health and medical history is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.

3Use of Our Website

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use of, this website by any third party. You must not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or networks
• Introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract content without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false medical or contact information

4Our Services

The Heart Clinic provides private cardiac diagnostic services, including ECG, echocardiography, Holter monitoring, stress ECG and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), as well as occupational health assessments such as TfL and motorsport medicals. Testing is performed by qualified clinicians and physiologists using hospital-grade equipment, with consultant cardiologist oversight available for complex findings.

6Bookings & Appointments

Appointments can be booked via our website, by phone or by email. You will receive confirmation of your appointment, including date, time, location and any preparation instructions. Please arrive on time and follow any pre-test instructions provided, as failure to do so may affect the quality of your results or require rebooking.

7Payment Terms

Prices for our services are displayed on our website and are payable at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed. We operate transparent pricing with no hidden charges. All prices are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Corporate and occupational health clients may be invoiced under separate agreed terms.

8Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellations made with reasonable notice will generally not incur a charge; late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, details of which will be provided at the time of booking.

9Results & Reports

We aim to deliver diagnostic results within 24 working hours of your appointment. Results are shared with you and, where applicable and consented to, your GP or referring clinician. Complex findings are reviewed under consultant cardiologist oversight before being finalised.

10Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos and design, is the property of The Heart Clinic (Bedfordshire) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent.

11Limitation of Liability

During this period, any services requiring CQC registration are facilitated through trusted, fully registered partner clinics, ensuring all patients receive care that meets regulatory requirements.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
